Chandana has more than 15 years of experience in the coaching of Badminton. She competed in India’s Badminton circuit before starting to coach at the age of 20. She has a Diploma in Sports Coaching (Badminton) from the National Institute of Sport, India and Master’s degree in Physical Education. She was a member of India’s National Coaches panel and accompanied Junior and Senior Indian teams internationally.
Before moving to the United States, she has coached at the world-class Pullela Gopichand Academy, India founded by former All England Champion Pullela Gopichand where she coached accomplished players like P.V. Sindhu, Srikanth Kidambi. During her career, her students won and went on to win several medals. She was the coach of Team India which won 6 Bronze Medals at ANA Badminton Asia Youth Championship held in Japan, 2010.
She is a passionate coach and has experience identifying and nurturing talent through the young players’ formative years. She wants to be part of raising the profile of Badminton and coach future champions.
